Dr Owuor is a False Prophet: My Reply to a Deceived Follower of His

1. Thank you for your kind words and prayers for me. The LORD has indeed given me insight and wisdom into the teachings and prophecies of Dr. David Owuor. He has done that through the scriptures. We have to prove all things according to scripture.
2. I trust that you care enough about the truth that you are willing to consider the facts. I love you and love the truth enough to provide all of these facts for you. Please read them carefully, and consider them prayerfully.
3. If you really believe that Dr. Owuor is a TRUE prophet of God then please answer these three questions:
a. Why was Dr Owuor so wrong (or why was God so wrong in telling Dr Owuor) about the judgment on America – regarding his prophecy of the earthquake of August 23, 2011 – which didn’t even kill anyone?
b. Why was Dr Owuor so wrong (or why was God so wrong in telling Dr Owuor) about the terror attack in Oslo, Norway (July 22, 2011) in which his prophecy was almost completely wrong, and
c. Why was Dr Owuor so silent (or why did God forget to tell Dr Owuor) about Hurricane Sandy – the largest and most expensive hurricane in U.S. history; and one that killed dozens of people, after he supposedly prophesied an earthquake that didn’t even kill anyone?
4. The bible says that prophets speaking in the name of the LORD had to be 100% accurate ALL of the time – or else they were to be stoned to death.
5. Whatever supernatural information Dr. Owuor receives is not from God, or else it would be 100% accurate ALL of the time. But he has been nearly 100% wrong on some of these prophecies – and it only takes ONE false prophecy to be a false prophet. So, his supernatural source of information is the Devil; not God.
ALL I NEED TO DO IS SHOW ONE THING THAT DR OWUOR PROPHESIED WRONG TO PROVE THAT HE IS A FALSE PROPHET – BUT I WILL SHOW MANY:
6. I have a copy of the video claiming that Dr. Owuor prophesied the earthquake on the east coast of the United States, five hours or so before it happened, on August 23, 2011. I have written out a complete transcription of what he said on that video so that nothing is taken out of context. I would like to examine his words and prove all things, as we are commanded to do by the scripture (I Thess 5:21). I would like to try the spirits, because many false prophets are gone out into the world (I John 4:1), and because I believe that Dr Owuor is one of those false prophets.
7. These are Dr Owuor’s exact words from his prophecy of August 23, 2011, as recorded on a video called “Earthquake Strikes United States on August 23, 2011”, still available on youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fm85AqzXTk0&feature=related:
“Praise the Lord, precious people. Today, being the 23rd of August; the year 2011. The lord spoke with me THIS afternoon, just a few hours ago, regarding a very TREMENDOUS event that is coming to the earth. And in that conversation, the lord took me to a place, and that place was a town, a city, and in that city he took me to a clinic, and there is this doctor, a woman doctor, who was treating people, I could see how patients waiting - I can still see them actually – I can see the patients waiting at the waiting room, and she’s seeing the patients in one-by-one. And the lord brought me to that city and to that clinic, and then all of a sudden, as I was there, a HUGE earthquake took place. A HUMUNGOUS earthquake took place; a BIG trembler. And when I looked at the whole situation as the earthquake was taking place, the lord put me in there, so I also panicked and started running for my life. And it’s such a HUGE earthquake that the ENTIRE land rotated anticlockwise. The land rotated anticlockwise in a VERY MASSIVE rotation of a HUGE piece that country, and the people there are light-skinned. Again, I heard everybody weeping and wailing and saying “look, this is most historic, because it has gone on for more that 42 seconds. And then I saw people running. After that I saw them running to the tv stations. The lord showed me people running to the tv stations looking for any kind of information on this HUGE, HISTORIC, TREMBLER that is coming. And that city is a HUGE CITY, a western city, with very tall skyscrapers and the way they have beautiful lights, the way the lights are lit on tall buildings – one here, one down, one next, one next, right there, they are beautifully lit - the beauty of the skyline of the city. And because I’ve spoken these things today, with MY PROPHETIC TONGUE, now there is going to be a MASSIVE, HISTORIC earthquake visit the earth. The lord has already made me live to see that day. And people are glued on tv and the reportages, the television was reporting how the earthquake happened, so the televisions are going to report how this earthquake will have happened. And I heard people saying that the ENTIRE VALLEY – and the lord made me know that we were in a VALLEY – that the ENTIRE VALLEY has been TOTALLY ROTATED, SHAKEN by God, shaken by the trembler. I don’t know when, where this takes place, or when this takes place, but let me tell you precious people, THIS is going to take place VERY soon. The way the lord spoke with me, he also told me this was URGENT. I am announcing the coming of a TREMENDOUS earthquake, a HISTORIC trembler, to the face of the earth. It is coming to the earth. It is going to be in the west. I’ve seen that city. I have seen the sexual sin in that city, that land, that nation, and that city. I have seen the gospel of prosperity preached by the pastors. The lord showed me: the witchcraft, the homosexuality, the gay marriages. I have seen everything abominable in that city, in that country, in that nation. The lord is asking for repentance. I don’t know whether it’s in the Great Lakes, I don’t know whether it is going to happen in the United States. The book of Matthew 24 verse seven says there will be famines that you see happening now in the horn of Africa, the drought in the U.S., the drought in China, there will be famines and earthquakes in various places, right before the Messiah comes. And that is part of the central prophesy Jesus gave to the church regarding the days right before he comes. Prepare the way. The Messiah is coming. And when THESE THINGS happen, it shall be known that THE MOUTH OF THE LORD HAS SPOKEN, and that I AM HIS SERVANT. And that the Messiah is coming. Shalom.
8. If it is not already obvious, I will show how that this prophecy is false, but before doing so, I will also present the exact words of Dr Owuor’s prophecy from September 16, 2011, “Prophecy of Second Quake Coming to the US”, still available on Youtube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BX6XdTypCk&feature=uploademail in which he claims that he was correct about that August 23, 2011 prophecy and that there will be a SECOND EARTHQUAKE. I am including this second prophecy to prove that the earthquake of August 23, 2011 was the EXACT earthquake about which Dr Owuor claims the Lord told him and showed him. By Dr Owuor’s own words, the earthquake of August 23, 2011 WAS the EXACT earthquake that he claims to have prophesied about that same day.
Well, precious people. Today being the 16th of the month of September, the year 2011, the lord Jehovah, the god of Israel, he spoke with me today, in the morning, about 3 o’clock a.m. all the way up to 5 a.m. And the lord, he lifted me up, in the spirit, and he took me and he showed me the entire east coast of the United States of America. And I could see the ships, the small boats, the fishing boats, with their tall, the things that … the poles that hold their masts. I could see the ships that sailed on the east coast of the United States of America. And then he took me all along the east coast; after that, he asked me to pass judgment, to DECREE WITH MY PROPHETIC TONGUE, the judgment of the lord over the east coast of the United States of America. This is owing to the homosexuality that has been established there now, in New York City, and many other cities where there is gay marriages, lesbianism. This is owing to the fault of the pastors, the leading evangelists of the world who live in the United States. They have all fallen to complacency and compromised gospel. They are now selling the blood of Jesus by preaching the gospel of prosperity. This is owing to the apostasy in the church, in the sanctuary of Jehovah, the God of Israel. And there is such a decay, sexual sin is in the house of the lord, abortions are in the house, false prophets and false apostles are flooded that land. And so the voice of the lord, in the night, took me there; and the voice of the lord asked me to use my prophetic tongue to decree judgment. And then when I decreed, and then the voice of the lord spoke from heaven and said, “Now there is an earthquake that is going to come, A SECOND EARTHQUAKE, A SECOND EARTHQUAKE IS NOW GOING TO COME, onto the eastern seaboard. The voice of the lord called it the eastern seaboard. And we know that too well that that is the east coast and that is the United States of America. And since the lord has shown me the small boats and the ships that sail along the east coast, this judgment of the lord that is, that is coming MAY also involve floods. I’ve seen the waters. So the voice of the lord is right now over the land of the United States of America, and also over the waters of the eastern seaboard. There is a MASSIVE earthquake. There is an earthquake coming, a SECOND EARTHQUAKE. We’re well too familiar with THE FIRST EARTHQUAKE THAT I PRONOUNCED AT 5:15 p.m., Kenyan time, which is about 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m. New York time, and we saw that at about 9:22 p.m. Kenyan time, about four hours later, less than four hours from that pronouncement, that earthquake shook the U.S. massively; and now AGAIN the lord has pronounced a judgment, that there is an earthquake coming, the eastern seaboard, even with a storm, because he showed me the waters and the ships that sailed along the east coast of the U.S.A. The voice of the lord is now over the eastern seaboard. The voice of the lord is over the entire U.S.A. Well, the lord says the eastern seaboard of the U.S.A, it is the entire nation of America. God Almighty is asking for repentance. He has commanded repentance in the U.S.A. He has decreed repentance. The lord is calling for national repentance. Let the presidents of the wall street, the presidents of companies, the president of the nation, presidents of congress, let all the leaders of the United States of America organize for a national repentance, for the nation to return back to Jesus, to return back to the fear of the lord, to godliness, and to prepare the way for the coming of the Messiah. It shall be known on this day that THE MOUTH OF THE LORD, HE HAS SPOKEN. Shalom.
9. Okay, let’s examine these things, and for convenience, I will refer to these two prophecies above as the FIRST prophecy and the SECOND prophecy.
a. In the first prophesy, why does Dr Owuor repeatedly say that the lord took him to a CITY and that it is a HUGE city, and that he has seen that city; but by the end of the prophecy he doesn’t know where this earthquake is going to happen and doesn’t even know whether it will even happen in the United States??
b. If God was proclaiming judgment on the United States of America, because of all the sin there, then why did Dr Owuor not even know whether the earthquake would happen in the Great Lakes or even in the United States at all?
c. What good would a judgment from God be on the United States, if the earthquake didn’t even happen in the United States?
d. When Dr Owuor was shown so many fine details about the EXACT city, the HUGE city, including the lights and the VERY TALL SKYSCRAPERS, then why didn’t he even know what country the earthquake would be in?
e. How could Dr. Owuor have seen the sin in THAT city and in THAT nation where the earthquake would happen, the homosexuality, the witchcraft, the false prosperity gospel preachers, but he did not even know WHAT NATION it was that he was talking about?
f. Where is the valley with the HUGE CITY where the earthquake struck on August 23, 2011? What is the name of that valley?
g. Where is the city with the VERY TALL SKYSCRAPERS that was struck by this HUGE, HUMUNGOUS, TREMENDOUS, earthquake – the city that God took his time to personally show Dr Owuor? What is the name of that city?
h. Why did God show Doctor Owuor a medical clinic with patients waiting for treatment? Did anyone die in the MASSIVE earthquake? Why did he show him a woman doctor, and tv stations and skyscrapers? Why does Dr Owuor mention all of these small details, but he misses the big details; not even knowing what country or city is going to be judged? Where in the bible are such insignificant details ever included in a prophecy, and big details left out?
i. Why did God warn Dr Owuor that this prophecy was so URGENT when not one person even died in it; and yet many died in other tragedies?
j. Why did God make a point to say that they were in a VALLEY?
k. Was Dr Owuor referring to San Francisco and the San Fernando Valley, or Los Angeles when he spoke of the valley and the HUGE CITY where the earthquake would happen? These cities are on the west coast and were not touched by the earthquake, at all.
l. If the earthquake of August 23 was actually the judgment of God, then why was there very little damage and no one was killed by it?
m. Because at least 75 people, perhaps 100, were killed in the pipeline explosion in Kenya on September 12, 2011, why didn’t God show Dr Owuor about that explosion in his own country? Was that the judgment of God on Kenya?
n. How do you explain God telling Dr Owuor about a MASSIVE earthquake in the U.S. that does little damage and kills no people, but he doesn’t tell Dr Owuor about the pipeline explosion in Kenya that kills 75 people?
o. How do you explain God being wrong in telling Dr Owuor about the ENTIRE VALLEY rotating anticlockwise? How do you explain God being wrong about the August 23rd earthquake being HUGE, HUMUNGOUS, TREMENDOUS, in a HUGE CITY, that rotated the ENTIRE LAND? None of these things, nor some of the other details actually happened.
p. Did God show Dr Owuor about the tsunami that would strike Indonesia in 2004 and kill about 200,000 people? Why not? Was God judging Indonesia? How does the earthquake of August 23 constitute being the judgment of God if no one was even killed by it, in comparison to something as devastating as the tsunami?
q. Did God show Dr Owuor about the tsunami in Japan? Was God judging Japan? Why then did he judge Japan so severely, without Dr Owuor saying much, if anything about it, but he did almost nothing to the United States on August 23, with Dr Owuor going on in great detail about the HUGE, TREMENDOUS, earthquake that was going to happen because of God’s judgment against America?
r. Where in the bible does God ever prophesy something that doesn’t happen EXACTLY as he prophesied?
s. Where in the bible does God prophesy small details about things that don’t happen and forget to prophesy about BIG details that DO happen?
t. How does the earthquake of August 23 constitute a “VERY TREMENDOUS EVENT THAT IS COMING TO THE EARTH”, especially compared to REAL disasters that killed many people, but which Dr Owuor has never mentioned?
u. Since THESE things DIDN’T happen, should we conclude that the MOUTH OF THE LORD DIDN’T SPEAK through Dr Owuor?
10. If there are not good answers to these questions, then we need to seriously place Dr. Owuor among the list of false prophets about whom Jesus warned us in Matt 24: 5, 11, 23, 24, and 26.
11. I won’t spend much time on the second prophecy, but here are a few questions about it:
a. So, is it an EARTHQUAKE or a STORM that is going to hit the east coast of the United States? OR are BOTH going to hit at the same time?
b. Why is Dr Owuor so positive about an earthquake hitting and yet he doesn’t know if floods will result from it?
c. If God actually showed Dr. Owuor what will happen (like every biblical prophesy clearly depicts), then why does Dr Owuor only say that floods “MAY” happen on the east coast when this earthquake or STORM hits?
d. Storms usually cause floods. Does it require a personal visit from Jehovah, God, himself, to know that a storm MAY strike the east coast of the United States, where storms always strike eventually, and that it would cause FLOODING?
12. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. (Matt 24:23-26)
13. There is no doubt that Dr. Owuor is a false prophet. His own words indict him.
14. As I have written – and as you already know – a prophet had to be 100% accurate or else he was to be stoned to death.
15. Think about this: Jannes and Jambres were able to withstand Moses, in part, because they were empowered by Satan to do so. The magicians did everything that Moses did – almost exactly. And the False Prophet will be able to call down fire from heaven and deceive the whole world at the time of the Antichrist. So, being right “sometimes” and doing what looks like “miracles” is not proof that a person gets his power and information from God. Satan is a master deceiver, capable of many of these deceptions. GOD IS ALWAYS TRUE AND ACCURATE. SATAN IS NOT ALWAYS TRUE OR ACCURATE. DR. OWUOR IS NOT ALWAYS TRUE OR ACCURATE. SO…….Dr. Owuor’s information and power comes from Satan, because it clearly cannot have come from God.
16. Let's look at Dr Owuor’s false prophecy of Olso more closely. Dr. Owuor falsely claims to have prophesied the bombing in Oslo - he supposedly prophesied the Oslo 'terror' attack. But watch this video clip of him yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHeYIItzenE
a. Dr. Owuor said that people would be in terror because of a "fire" in very tall buildings. Well, there was a small fire. But there were BOMBS that had been detonated, resulting in some fire; there was not a "fire" per se on its own. Why didn't he mention the BOMBS? People were hurt because of the BOMBS, and NOT because of the "fire". And people were 'terrorized' because of the BOMBS, not because of the fire. (By the way, the bombs were NOT in a car, as the official report says. Look at the video. All of the windows and debris have been blown OUT of the buildings from inside; they were not blown inwards from a car bomb outside. Also, look at how the ground is raised and broken all in a straight trench outside where pipelines obviously are located. A car bomb didn't dig that nice, neat, long trench by exploding from a point source. But I understand that workers had been accessing the pipeline for several days prior to the explosion. These are the kinds of things that are rarely reported.)
b. Dr Owuor said, "I saw tall buildings, very tall building caught fire". Well, yes, the buildings were "tall", but there were not significantly tall. Many office buildings and apartments in any major city, including Oslo are as tall, or taller. There are clearly several buildings in the near vicinity that actually tower over the government building that was bombed in Oslo.
c. Dr. Owuor said, "I don't know how it caught fire" (how the "very tall buildings caught fire", making the whole nation "terrorized"). Well, if he was truly prophesying the words of God, as he claims, then he would not have even said this, because the Lord would have given the whole story, or at least would have given him the important elements of it, and he simply would have stated those words as the Lord had given them to him. Dr Owuor said he saw a "fire" and people were terrorized. But the fact is that the fire was insignificant, and he didn't even know how it was started; so why did he even mention it? On the other hand, the BOMBS WERE significant; and much more so, the SHOOTING MASSACRE was every more significant. But he didn't mention either of these pivotal facts. I think there were only two people who died in the bombing, and at least 84 who died in the shooting massacre. (Don't hold me to these numbers, but they do indicate the relative importance.)
d. Since September 11, 2001, at least, it only makes sense to prophesy that fires or bombs, etc would happen in "tall" buildings, because that is what draws most of the news media attention. When people are trapped in tall buildings, it makes 'good' news. And if someone wants to get attention, they would attack a reasonably large building.
e. Because it was a holiday and the office buildings were nearly empty, almost no one died in the bombing in Oslo. BUT dozens of young people were killed the same day by the same people in the shooting massacre. Why didn't Dr Owuor mention this? Why would he prophesy a terrorizing "FIRE" (when the real cause of the relatively few deaths was a BOMBING) and, at the same time, ignore the SHOOTING MASSACRE that killed most of the victims and that terrorized the people, and that was executed the same day, by the same people? This was not a prophecy of God. Dr Owuor was speaking out of his own heart, or was speaking under the influence of a devil, by sorcery.
f. Sorcerers have always wanted to have power and to exercise influence over people. Read about Simon, the sorcerer in the book of Acts (Acts 8:18-24) who wanted to buy the power of the Holy Ghost from the Apostles. Notice that people today have much the same spirit – the Harry Potter series of books and videos attests to this fact. Even pastors take their families to watch the Harry Potter movies!! But God said, "regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God." (Lev 19:31) and "the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people." (Lev 20:6)
g. So, Dr Owuor's "prophesy" is completely too ambiguous to be from God, too silent on what actually happened to be from God, and too erroneous about what was supposed to happen to be from God. What he prophesied and what actually happened are two totally different things.
17. There are many tricks to make one-self appear to have extra-special or even supernatural knowledge. A doctor used to 'prophesy' that his pregnant female patients would have a boy, but he would write in his journal that he told them they would have a girl. Then, if it was a boy, he would accept the praise for being right; and if it was a girl, he would feign confusion and look in his journal showing them that, from his recollection, he had predicted a girl. If a person makes a lot of vague predictions about things that inevitable will happen somewhere, then all he has to do is point to the few that have actually happened – ignoring the ones that haven't happened "yet". People forget those things and become mesmerized by the ones that appear to have happened. People want to believe in someone who can give them answers; someone who has extra-special revelation knowledge.
18. As mentioned, God forbids us to engage in sorcery, divination, and similarly dark, spiritual practices. Familiar spirits are devils (fallen angels) who are "familiar" with a person and who communicate knowledge to other spirits and people about those people. That is why and how people can know things that are humanly impossible to know about others. Evangelist William Branham, for example, refused to proceed with his "healing" services until his "angel" was with him on the platform. When he knew that "his angel" was with him, then he was able to call out sicknesses, and to identify things about people that no man could possibly know, and to perform 'miraculous healings'. The so-called 'miraculous healings' were entirely fake. Many people died. Most returned to their illnesses and/or became worse. The same is true today in the ministries of Benny Hinn, Todd Bentley, Reinhardt Bonnke, and the like. Read the testimony of Alfred Pohl who fully believed in William Branham at the time and who accompanied Branham on his 'healing crusade'. 19. I have examined several of Dr Owuor's so-called 'prophesies' here and have highlighted the over-all warnings that Jesus and the Apostles gave regarding the deception and practices of false prophets in these last days. It only takes one specific, false claim regarding doctrine or prophecy, personally revealed by God to Dr Owuor, to prove that Dr Owuor is NOT a man of God, nor a prophet of God. His "visions" of heaven are unscriptural. His "prophecies" are ambiguous and erroneous. Even when his prophecies of earthquakes have the appearance of accuracy, they are no more spectacular than the predictions of experts in seismology - for example. And, even when his prophecies of tragedy have the appearance of accuracy, they are no more spectacular than any knowledgeable person could predict – given the historical terror attacks, human nature, and cleverly worded ambiguity. AND, even IF his prophecies can still not be humanly explained, it is still clear from scripture that our day will be filled with men who go around deceiving others with false prophecies, signs and lying wonders – even claiming that Jesus is Christ while they are doing so.
Don’t be deceived. Dr. Owuor is a false prophet.
